Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel is a Native American casino on the Pueblo of Santa Ana in Bernalillo, New Mexico. The casino is located 10 miles (16 km) North of Albuquerque, and right next to Rio Rancho. at 54 Jemez Canyon Dam Road, Santa Ana Pueblo, NM 87004 in Sandoval County, at 35°20'44' North, 106°31'24' West (35.345446, -106.523309).

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel was founded by the Tamaya at the Pueblo of Santa Ana and opened in 1993 co-located with its retail smoke shop. The Pueblo, named Tamaya in the native language, is located on 73,000 acres (295 km²) of reservation land in the Rio Grande Valley.
The casino purchased naming rights to the Santa Ana Star Center in a five-year, $2.5 million deal signed in July 2006. Santa Ana Star Casino purchased. [1] Santa Ana Star Casino has partnerships with other nearby businesses owned or located on the pueblo. These include the Twin Warriors Golf Club and Santa Ana Golf Club, Hyatt Regency Tamaya resort, Warrior 66 Fuel gas station and convenience store, and the Santa Ana Garden Center.[2]

Expansion[edit]
In 1998 they added a few slots, and in 2000 they added a thousand more. In 2017 they added Hotel rooms, a Swimming Pool and The Stage at the Star. In July 4th, 2018 they opened Mesa Grille, The Feast Buffet, Cantina Rio, Lounge 54, Starlight Bar & Grill, and Juniper Steakhouse.

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel has 109,000 square feet (10,100 m2) of gaming space devoted to both slot machines and table games. The casino has 1,475 slot machines, and 20 table games including blackjack, roulette, pai gow, 4-card poker, Let It Ride, craps and live poker.[3]

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Thanksgiving is always a delicious day not only to be thankful for the blessings in our lives, but to also enjoy a nice meal with family and friends.
Sometimes the traditional cooking of a turkey and preparing all the fixings can be a large task to take on, and the cleanup can be a major project. That’s why some area casinos are doing all the hard work for you and offering up some fun promotions to enjoy before and after you chow down.
THE DOWNS RACETRACK & CASINO: The Crown Room fine-dining restaurant inside The Downs will provide a gourmet Thanksgiving dinner from 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The menu includes holiday favorites such as carved turkey served with stuffing and cranberry sauce, as well as side dishes including mashed potatoes, honey-glazed carrots, sweet potatoes and more. Finish it all off with an assortment of desserts including pumpkin, apple and pecan pies.

The Downs also will be celebrating its Triple Crown Slot Tournament Week, which kicks off at 10 a.m. Sunday. Guests can qualify to play in the tournament once daily by earning 200 points per day. Once a guest is eligible to participate, the tournament game will pop up on his or her screen allowing him or her to play the tournament game for three minutes to accumulate as many points as possible.
Winners of the Triple Crown Slot Tournament will be announced on Nov. 29. Guests who receive the top 20 overall scores will receive prizes of cash or free play. The top 10 scorers will receive cash prizes. The first-place winner receives $1,000 cash, second place receives $800, third place gets $700 and fourth place wins $500. Manufactured Superstars, the high energy DJ duo clad in their signature NASA space suits, perform at 9 p.m. Nov. 29.
A couple years ago, I was lucky enough to see Manufactured Superstars at XS Nightclub inside the Wynn Las Vegas. The place was packed. Every inch of the nightclub was filled with people dancing and enjoying themselves during the high-energy show that went nonstop through the early morning hours. It was an amazing experience I will never forget.
